Shared services teams at the BCC act as an extension to the following global services groups
Knowledge Management: Collaborates with the global industry and capability practice areas to help front-line teams benefit from 'best of Bain' content and expertise. The BCC team supports practice operations, manages the case summary compliance process and ensures the capture and codification of consulting staff knowledge and case experience.
Software Development Group: Helps in application development and maintenance for internal Bain applications like finance, HR, marketing and other related functions.
Records Management: Ensures consistency in managing confidential client materials throughout the Bain system. The BCC team contacts various case teams across Bain offices to ensure timely and accurate wrap-ups, helps in tracking and reporting compliance on a regular basis. The success of this program relies on the compliance and support of everyone at Bain.
Human Capital: Responsible for the reporting, analysis and maintenance of employee data from suite of proprietary Human Capital systems for the global and local HR offices including execution of worldwide employee survey and monthly case team surveys.
Marketing:
Relationship Marketing: Owns the firm-wide CRM system which helps us develop and maintain client relationships. The team interfaces with the firm's senior executives to support business development activities and with technology team to maintain and enhance the CRM system's functionalities.
Public Relations: Helps in monitoring media coverage of the firm, developing targeted media contact lists for industry verticals and reporter 'beats' and analyzing global media for PA/CA reporting trends and emerging story angles.
Editorial: Creates content and controls quality of all Bain related articles and manuscripts.
